When
I teach someone the 108 postures, I apply the Seven Palm
Dragon's Pathways to our patterns. First
memorize as left palm single whip, then memorize the entire
108 as right palm is now extended when executing a single
whip. Mirroring all the postures and movements which were
first learned. Then
comes the Seven Palm movement patterns which quickly and
dramatically amplifies the inner oneness of the movements and
comprises an outstanding workout, which I most highly
recommend for girls who don't like weights and barbells, and
don't wish to be jogging or bouncing up and down for
fitness.
You
will become exceedingly fit and exceedingly strong by
practicing the Yang Style 108 Posture Tai Chi Chuan patterns

Seven
Palm's Path Ways of the Dragon - A Tai Chi Training Exercise.
1. Perform all
movements from a single spot, without ever leaving from where
you started. 2.
Perform all movements in a constant forward straight line. 3.
Perform all movements in the opposite direction of the
previous movement, continuously reversing direction. 4.
Perform all movements as an outward spiral to the left. 5.
Perform all movements as an outward spiral to the right. 6.
Perform all movements at a three quarters 270 degree reverse
left. 7.
Perform all movements at a three quarters 270 degree reverse
right.
