You Can
Tune A Piano But You Can't Tuna Fish!
First let's tune your
guitar strings. The highest pitched one is the first string and
lowest pitched one is the sixth string, from high to low.

for each of the six strings. XIan
physics teaches us that for each frequency of sound
waves there is a corresponding electro-magnetic wave color
visible to the naked eye. The Left Column is for tuning
Acoustic guitars and the columns to the right are for tuning Electric
and Heavy Metal guitars. The string is plucked without being
fretted and is allowed to ring. There is no 'C' string.
